附属の先生6名が来室され，今後のカリキュラム・教材開発について議論を行いました。私からは，中学校１～２年の英語教科書をよく分析し，適切なタスクを開発することの重要性を述べました。また，小学校ではこれまで英語そのものを扱うことに及び腰な姿勢が見られますが，新課程（の高学年授業）では英語についてもある程度きちんととりあげていくことが必要になるでしょう。
